These terms cover the CapFishs app and this website. By using CapFishs, you agree to them and to our privacy policy.
The short version
- Your catches and photos stay yours.
- Don’t upload photos of other people without their OK.
- Pro renews automatically until you cancel in the App Store. On Android, cancel it in Google Play instead.
Who can use CapFishs
CapFishs is for anglers 13 and older. If you’re under 18, use it only with a parent’s or guardian’s OK.
Your catches and photos
Your catches and photos stay yours. To run CapFishs, you let us store, copy and process them — for example to name the fish, cut it out, keep your log in sync and show it back to you — and to show a card publicly when you choose to share it. This permission ends when you delete them or your account.
Play fair
- Don’t upload photos of other people without their OK.
- Only upload photos you took or have the right to use.
- Nothing illegal, hateful, sexual or violent.
- Don’t try to break, overload, copy or scrape CapFishs, or get around its limits.
We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules.
Sharing
Anyone with the link can see a card you share. It shows the county at most — never your exact spot. Anyone can report a shared card or a fish picture that looks wrong or inappropriate, and we take down what breaks these terms.
AI can be wrong
CapFishs uses AI to name fish and estimate their length and weight, and it can get them wrong. Always follow your local fishing rules — seasons, size and bag limits, licenses — and don’t rely on CapFishs to decide whether a fish is legal to keep. Weather and bite forecasts are estimates too, so stay safe on the water.
CapFishs Pro
Pro renews automatically until you cancel in the App Store on iOS or Google Play on Android. The store you bought from handles payment, cancellation and refunds under its own terms. Deleting the app or your account doesn’t cancel it. You’ll see the price, and any free trial, before you buy.
Changes and ending
We keep improving CapFishs, so features may change or go away. If we change these terms, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. You can stop using CapFishs and delete your account any time; we may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
No guarantees
CapFishs is provided as is. As far as the law allows, we don’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it.
